Mediation Style
Mediation in Bulgaria is facilitative. Our approach as court mediators is always tailored specifically to parties themselves. It is always recommended to rely on developed in various specialised courses in mediation, which I have completed, techniques in mediation. Colleagues (attorneys) who are not mediators in Bulgaria have a rather negative approach towards mediation, more so after the court-mandated mediation launched in 2024/2025. It is always rewarding to convince even very sceptical colleagues to see and appreciate the benefits of mediation and the wonderful work mediators do.
