Violeta Saranciuc is managing associate in the Dispute Resolution department of Zamfirescu Raco\u021bi Vasile & Partners, where she specialises in international arbitration and international dispute resolution.<\/span>\u200b<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

She has eleven years of experience representing private parties, state bodies and state-owned companies before international arbitral tribunals under various rules, including VIAC, ICC, ICSID, UNCITRAL, as well as the Romanian CICACCIR rules. Violeta has acted as counsel in some of the most high-profile arbitration cases involving Romanian parties and regularly represents international clients in arbitrations seated in various jurisdictions. Her counsel work includes construction and infrastructure disputes, shareholder and privatisation disputes, energy disputes, agribusiness disputes, international sales and general contractual matters, as well as investment protection matters. She also represents clients in arbitration-related court proceedings and is experienced in complex commercial and competition litigations.<\/span>\u200b<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

For her work in international arbitration, Violeta has been recognised as Future Leader in the Who\u2019s Who Legal Arbitration Global Guide several years in a row and recommended by clients in the Legal 500 and GAR 100 legal directories.<\/span>\u200b<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Violeta is co-founder and co-chair of YRAP \u2013 Young Romanian Arbitration Practitioners, the first Romanian under-40 initiative, and an active member of the Romanian international arbitration community. She constantly engages in programmes and projects aimed at promoting the young generation of arbitration practitioners. She holds a master\u2019s degree in Business Law from the University of Bucharest and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. Violeta fluently speaks Romanian, Russian and English and has good knowledge of German.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
